SC: SARFAESI Act Applicable to Cooperative Banks - 06.05.2020

Supreme Court has held that the co-operative banks under the State legislation and multi-State co-operative banks are 'banks' under Section 2(1)(c) of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Act 2002.
