Madras HC Allows Compromise Between Private Insurer & Claimants - 06.05.2020

Madras High Court has passed an order allowing private insurer, Cholamandalam MS General Insurance to execute transfer of 23 different Motor Accident Claim Petitions pending before various tribunals in the State of Tamil Nadu to the High Court under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in order to facilitate a compromise arrived at in consultation with accident victims/families.
