Bombay HC Directs High Power Committee to Discuss Discriminatory Release of Prisoners - 27.04.2020

Bombay High Court has directed the high power committee constituted by the State Government to decide whether the distinction made between prisoners/undertrials accused under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and those under special enactments, for release on parole due to the pandemic of Covid-19, is discriminatory.
