Bombay HC: Police Order Prohibiting Dissemination of Information to Protect from Fake News - 16.04.2020

Bombay High Court has observed that the order passed by Mumbai Police dated 10th April, 2020, prohibiting people from disseminating information through social media platforms like Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram etc. was prima facie done with the objective of protecting people from false or incorrect information about Covid-19.
