Centre Notifies Act Providing Domicile Reservation for Govt. Jobs in Jammu & Kashmir - 01.04.2020

Ministry of Home Affairs has promulgated the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Adaptation of State Laws) Order, 2020, which comes into force with immediate effect. The Order notifies changes in the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Decentralization and Recruitment) Act, 2010, which defines "domicile" for employment in the region.
