AAR, West Bengal: Public Health is Eligible for GST Exemption - 11.03.2020

Authority for Advance Ruling (AAR), West Bengal has held that the service of public health, sanitation, conservancy, and solid waste management is a function of ‘public health’ entrusted to Municipalities under Article 243W of the Constitution of India, 1949 and is eligible for Goods and Services Tax (GST) exemption.
