Allahabad HC: Section 438 CrPC Does Not Mandate That Sessions Court Must be Moved First - 04.03.2020

Allahabad High Court has held that under special circumstances, a person apprehending arrest may approach the High Court directly seeking anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), 1973, without approaching the Sessions Court first.
