Karnataka HC: Fundamental Right of Holding Peaceful Protest is Basic Feature of Democracy - 02.03.2020

Karnataka High Court has observed that the fundamental right to hold peaceful protests is a basic feature of democracy while holding that the imposition of the order under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in Bengaluru on December 2019 in the wake of anti-CAA protests was illegal.
