Madras High Court: E- Assessments Alone by Income Tax Department Can Lead to Erroneous Assessments - 24.02.2020

Madras High Court has stated that the e-proceedings facility provided by the income tax department from 2017-18 can lead to erroneous assessments as officials conclude these without “personal hearing” of the Assessees.
