Karnataka High Court Dismisses Plea to Transfer Trial of Rape Case Against Nityananda - 19.02.2020

Karnataka High Court has dismissed a Petition seeking to transfer the alleged rape case, against Swamy Nityananda @Rajshekharan and others, from Ramanagra to a Court in Bengaluru. The Court held that the Petition was 'devoid of merits' and directed the Trial Court to expedite the trial, which has been pending for a decade.
