Madras HC: Non-Payment of Subsistence Allowance to Employee During Suspension Violative of Article 21 - 17.02.2020

Madras High Court has emphasized that subsistence allowance cannot be denied to employees during the tenure of their suspension and has held that its non-payment shall violate the Fundamental Right given under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, 1949.
