Madhya Pradesh HC Orders Compensation for Wrongful Detention - 14.02.2020

Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered the State Government to pay a compensation of Rs 5 Lakhs to a 68-year old man for keeping him in jail to serve a sentence for a dead convict over mistaken identity.
