Supreme Court Questions 100% Quota for Tribals in Scheduled Tribes Area - 13.02.2020

Supreme Court has questioned the setting aside of 100% teachers’ posts for tribals in Andhra Pradesh’s Scheduled Tribes Area. The Court further inquired if the 100% quota was meant to benefit teachers or the students, and demanded the studies that show reservations benefits had percolated to those who needed them and had improved their economic condition.
