SC: HC Cannot Quash Criminal Proceedings on Basis of its Assessment of Statements u/s 161 CrPC - 12.02.2020

Supreme Court has held that criminal proceedings cannot be quashed on the basis of statements recorded before Police officials in terms of Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC).
