Supreme Court Issues Notice to Government on Change in Right to Information Law - 03.02.2020

Supreme Court has issued notices to the Government on a Petition alleging that it had diluted the law to give itself absolute discretionary powers over the tenure, salaries and working conditions of information commissioners, which would compromise their independence and integrity.
