Bombay HC: No Provisional Attachment Under CGST Act When No Pendency of Any Specific Proceedings - 29.01.2020

Bombay High Court has held that no provisional attachment under Section 83 of the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017 can be made in absence of any specific proceedings pending against such taxable persons.
