Karnataka High Court Drops Criminal Contempt Proceedings Initiated Against Deccan Herald - 29.01.2020

Karnataka High Court has dropped the criminal contempt proceedings, initiated against Deccan Herald, and three local Kannada, new channels, BTV, TV5 and Digvijay, for publishing false news, after accepting their unconditional apology and their willingness to pay a total cost of Rs 73 Lakhs.
