Karnataka High Court Grants Bail to Bangladeshi Christian Woman Citing Citizenship (Amendment) Act - 29.01.2020

Karnataka High Court has granted bail to a Bangladeshi Christian woman, citing Section 2 of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, according to which minorities from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who have entered India on or before December 31, 2014, should not be treated as illegal immigrants.
