Ministry of Women and Child Development launches e-Office

The Ministry of Women and Child Development has inaugurated its e-office, in another step towards paperless functioning. The system is hoped to bring transparency, accountability and improve delivery of services. Legacy data of all the files of the Ministry have been digitised and all file movement takes place electronically. Processing time for files is expected to drop from 30-40 days, when done physically, to 4-5 days.
