Delhi HC: Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks is Industry u/s 2(j) ID Act - 21.01.2020

Delhi High Court has held that the office of a Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks is an industry under Section 2(j) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (ID Act). The Court has further directed the reinstatement of workers illegally retrenched from their services.
