Karnataka High Court Imposes Cost on Police Officers for Registering FIR Under Section 66A of IT Act - 17.01.2020

Karnataka High Court has directed two police officers to pay a cost of Rs. 10,000 each for registering a First Information Report under Section 66 (A) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 which has been struck down by the Supreme Court.
