Delhi High Court: Search and Seizure Before Magistrate Not Mandatory in All Cases - 16.01.2020

Delhi High Court has held that the requirement to conduct search and seizure before a Gazetted Officer/Magistrate under Section 50 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 is mandatory only when the accused requires such procedure to be carried out.
