Madras HC Takes Suo Motu Case on Cartel of Doctors, Pharma Companies and Diagnostic Labs - 15.01.2020

Madras High Court has observed that the cartel of doctors, pharma companies and diagnostic laboratories are fleecing the patients by overpricing the drugs over and above the maximum scale price fixed by the Government. The Court further observed that as a consequence the patients are compelled to pay more unnecessarily.
