Jammu and Kashmir High Court Directs Fresh Trial in a Rape Case - 30.12.2015

Jammu and Kashmir High Court has ordered fresh trial of a case wherein trial court had acquitted an accused of rape charges after ignoring the victim’s statement before the magistrate during the investigation. The victim had died after recording her statement before the Magistrate under 164 A CrPC.
