SC: Inducting Partner to Premises will not Amount to Subletting Only When Such Partnership is Genuine - 08.01.2020

Supreme Court has observed that inducting the partner in his business or profession by the tenant will not amount to Sub-Letting only when such partnership is genuine. The Court observed that subletting means transfer of an exclusive right to enjoy the property in favour of the third party. To constitute subletting there must be parting of legal possession.
