Karnataka High Court Rejects PIL Seeking Direction to Hoist National Flag at Anganwadi - 08.01.2020

Karnataka High Court has disposed off a public interest litigation filed seeking direction to hoist the National Flag at an Anganwadi in Kalbur. The Court observed that the Petitioner had not made out a case on legal obligation on part of an anganwadi to hoist the flag and that the Flag Code, 2002 does not make it mandatory for educational institutions to display national flag.
