AHC Directs Govt to Reply to Habeas Corpus Plea on Advocate's Arrest During Anti-CAA Protests - 07.01.2020

Allahabad High Court (AHC) has ordered the State Government to apprise it within a week of the exact time and place of the arrest of an advocate during the recent protests against changes in the citizenship law. The Court directed the Government to submit to it the facts of the advocate's arrest in a sworn affidavit.
