Calcutta HC Asks State Govt for Report on Action Against Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 Protesters - 17.12.2019

Calcutta High Court has directed the State Government to file a report on action taken regarding law and order situation in West Bengal, amid violent protests against the citizenship law. The Court gave the directions on a petition filed by a resident of Howrah that has seen several incidents of vandalism and arson.
