Supreme Court: Offence of Attempt to Rape can be Attracted Even if Accused had not Undressed Himself - 21.11.2019

Supreme Court has upheld the conviction of a man under Section 376 read with Section 511 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 for attempt of rape to a woman. Further the Court also observed that the attempt to commit an offence begins when the Accused commences to do an act with the necessary intention.
