Rajya Sabha Passes Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial (Amendment) Bill, 2019 - 20.11.2019

Rajya Sabha has passed the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Bill scraps the provision in the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Act, 1951 that makes the Congress president permanent member of the trust which manages Amritsar's Jallianwala Bagh massacre memorial.
