NGT Bans Construction in Porur Lake; Bans Pvt. Parties from Drawing Water - 23.12.2015

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed officials concerned to ensure that no construction activity is undertaken in Porur lake. It has also banned private parties from drawing water from the lake.
