Bombay HC: Even if Accused Pleads Guilty, Courts not Authorized to Award Less than Minimum Sentence - 03.10.2019

Bombay High Court has ruled that even if the Accused pleads guilty Courts are not empowered to impose a sentence below the minimum sentence prescribed in the given statute passed by the Legislature.
