Allahabad High Court: Housing Society is not Industry and its Employees are not Workmen - 20.09.2019

Allahabad High Court has clarified that a housing society is not an industry within the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and its employees are not workmen. The Court observed that the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 was to focus on resolution of industrial disputes and regulation of industrial relations.
