Apex Court: Consumer Forum has Jurisdiction Over Disputes on Validity of Statutory Dues - 17.09.2019

Apex Court has ruled that Consumer forum has jurisdiction to decide disputes concerning the validity of the imposition of a statutory due arising out of a “deficiency in service” as per the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
