Bombay High Court Dismisses Minor’s Abortion Plea - 09.09.2019

Bombay High Court has refused to terminate a 27-week foetus and observed that after birth, if the 15-year-old mother desires that the child should be adopted by someone else, she could approach an NGO. The plea was rejected on the basis that medical opinion submitted to the Court stated that there were no abnormalities detected in the sonography of the foetus.
