Bom HC: Mere Request of Money Not Accompanied by Harassment Would not Fall Under Section 498-A of IPC - 04.09.2019

Bombay High Court has ruled that mere demand of money or property not accompanied by any harassment would not fall under Section 498 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. The Court was hearing a petition filed by relatives of Krishna Lohiya whose wife Priyanka had filed an FIR against them.
