J Dey Murder Case: Bombay High Court Upholds Acquittal of Former Journalist Jigna Vora - 28.08.2019

Bombay High Court has upheld a lower court order that the former journalist Jigna Vora had no role to play in the conspiracy to eliminate journalist J Dey. A Special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act Court in May last year had acquitted Vora on the grounds that merely passing on registration number of the victim’s motorcycle to gangster Chhota Rajan cannot be the basis to incriminate her.
