Madras High Court Directs Payment of Compensation to Accident Victims Only Through Annuity Scheme - 16.08.2019

Madras High Court has directed the implementation of the Motor Accident Claims Annuity Deposit Scheme from October 1 while clarifying that the victims of motor vehicle accidents in Tamil Nadu can no more get compensation from vehicle insurers in lumpsum.
