President Gives Assent to Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2019 - 12.08.2019

President Ram Nath Kovind has given assent to the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Bill which has now become an Act will tighten road traffic regulations such as issuance of driving licence and impose stricter penalties for violations in an attempt to improve road safety.
