SC Invokes Constitutional Powers to Appoint Retd. High Court Judge Virendra Singh as New UP Lokayukta - 16.12.2015

Supreme Court has invoked its constitutional powers to appoint Retd. High Court Judge Virendra Singh as the new Lokayukta of Uttar Pradesh after the state government failed to comply with its repeated directives.
