Bombay High Court Declines Permission for Animal Slaughter in Apartments on Bakri Id - 07.08.2019

Bombay High Court has restrained the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation from granting permission for slaughter of animals on Bakri Id inside residential flats. The Court observed that it could not completely prohibit such slaughters within the compounds or grounds of housing societies.
