Bombay High Court Quashes Cruelty, Cheating Case Against Olympian Dattu Bhokanal - 01.08.2019

Bombay High Court has directed that an FIR filed by Olympian rower Dattu Bhokanal's wife against him, alleging cheating and cruelty, be quashed. The Court found that the offence under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 was not made out, as Bhokanal had married the Petitioner.
