Salman Khan acquitted of hit-and-run - 10.12.2015

The Bombay High Court acquitted Salman Khan of wrongdoing in a motor vehicle accident in 2002. It stated that prosecution failed to establish his presence behind the wheel of a vehicle that ran over several persons sleeping on a pavement, let alone his inebriated state at the time of the occurrence. Disposing off the actor’s appeal, the Court quashed a previous trial court ruling convicting and sentencing him.
