Supreme Court Plea Challengs Bombay High Court's Grant of Quota to Marathas in Education, Jobs in Maharashtra - 06.07.2019

The Bombay High Court had said the 50% reservation-cap by the Supreme Court could be exceeded only in exceptional circumstances. While the plea states that this limit was a 'binding rule and not merely a rule of prudence'.
