Kerala High Court Rejects Termination of Teachers in Self-Financing Institutions - 04.07.2019

Kerala High Court has upheld the formation of the Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS) by the State Government and approved by the Mahatma Gandhi University for managing the self-financing institutions run by the university. The Court however, found that the termination of employees including the teachers of these self-financing institutions after they were brought under the control of the CPAS was arbitrary and illegal.
