ITAT Delhi: Tax Exemption Cannot be Denied Merely Because One Donation in One Year is Doubtful - 01.07.2019

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) Delhi has ruled that the income tax exemption cannot be denied to a Trust merely because one donation in one year is doubted. ITAT Delhi further observed that there is no basis for the Revenue to hold that the Assessee received the donation of Rs. 85 lakhs in lieu of cash.
