SAT Stays SEBI’s Order Directing Prannoy, Radhika to Step Down from NDTV - 19.06.2019

Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has stayed an order passed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) stopping New Delhi Television (NDTV) promoters Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy from holding managerial positions at the company. SAT held that “Such orders prima facie would not be in the interest of the shareholders of NDTV or investors at this stage,” It further added that the company “cannot remain headless.”
