Punjab and Haryana HC: Family Can’t Compromise on Behalf of Dead Victim - 11.12.2015

Punjab and Haryana HC while deciding plea to quash FIR on the basis of compromise, where it was alleged that the accused rammed his scooter in the motorcycle the victim was riding, has made it clear that a deceased victim’s family cannot strike a compromise with the accused on behalf of the dead.
