District and Sessions Court, Pathankot Convicts Six and Acquits One in Kathua Rape Case - 10.06.2019

District and Sessions Court Pathankot held six of the eight accused in the rape and murder of an eight-year-old nomadic girl in Kathua including the temple priest Sanji Ram. The seventh accused and Sanjhi Ram's son, was acquitted for the want of evidence. Further fate of the eighth accused, who is Sanji Ram's minor Nephew, is yet to be decided by the Juvenile Court.
