NGT Stays AP Govt's Godavari-Penna Interlinking Projects for Want of Environment Clearance - 08.06.2019

The project does not have the environmental clearance as required, not does it have the the Consent to Establish as under the Air and Water Acts. The NGT has tasked the Ministry of Environment and Forests and the CPCB with drawing a factual report.
